dave seaman present group therapy featuring nat leonard

group therapy is the collaberation between dj dave seaman, myself - and the incredible vocal talents of nat leonard.

together we have been busy working in my inner world studio on tracks for the first album, scheduled for a late spring / early summer 2005 release.

The second single is currently in the studio, whilst our first single, 'my own worst enemy' was released on august 31st 2004 - here's the lowdown on that track:

Dave Seaman Presents Group Therapy Feat Nat Leonard - My Own Worst Enemy

Phew!!! And yes we are contacting the Guinness Book of Records to find out if that is the longest artist/song title in history!!!

Well he's back. The rumours are true. Label head honcho Dave Seaman has returned to the studio accompanied with the new ethos of Group Therapy ( more on this below ) with vocalist Nat Leonard and has turned out an anthem in the making, My Own Worst Enemy.

In true signature fashion Dave has gone for a full on song and has been developing a more club orientated version over the past year and has road tested it all over the globe until finally getting the version he was most happy with. No doubt some of you will have heard this song out in a club at various levels of its progression. In the end the outcome is a full on bass driven progressive monster which builds and builds with melodic layers of vocals and strings before reaching a euphoric guitar based drop which will cause mayhem on many a dancefloor. There is also a Group Therapy Dub which has stripped the track back keeping just key vocal parts without losing any of the tracks energy.

The remix comes in the form of a breaks laden interpretation from Trafik who many will be familiar with after their excellent debut single "Your Light" earlier this year. They have utilised the vocal to its maximum effect sitting it on a foundation of ultra-firm beats and roaring, rolling basslines - the mix utilises the distinct beauty of the original, whilst placing it in altogether darker, groovier world.

Also on remix duties comes a deep dark tribal mix courtesy of Japans Womb parties residents Yoshi & OMB whom both regularly play with Dave when he is in Japan. Finally Spector add their unique blend of Balearic rhythms and turn out a mix that will suit those in need of some chilled out beats.
